Lucid is a company that is dedicated to dogs, dog owners and advocates, and the craft of dog training, so naturally, we were recently inspired by Grumpy Cat, who profoundly memed: “There are two things in this world that I hate: change and the way things are.” Although we respectfully disagree with Grumpy Cat regarding her perspective on change, we 100% agree that “the way things are,” is often a worthy place of some serious reconsideration. Some might say that hate is a strong word, but we admire Grumpy Cat’s bold language use, as such emotions are also great catalysts for our feline friend’s other nemesis and our reason for being – positive long-lasting change. We hope to make a big difference not only to our clients, but to the broader dog world and pet industry, as well.
To our new and future clients:
Lucid is dedicated to not only helping you train your dog to achieve specific behaviors, we’re also deeply dedicated to you and your family’s complete understanding of the principles and mechanics of dog training and overall dog knowledge. As professional communicators and educators, it’s in our DNA to be sure that you clearly learn how and why your dog is learning and what they’re communicating to you, so that you can continue to grow the relationship with your current dog and overall enjoyment of dogs, long after our engagement has ended. Great trainers can make many dogs do many wonderful things, but we believe that it is mostly the power and responsibility of dedicated and knowledgeable dog owners that gives great dogs the lives they deserve and their owners, the pets they desire. We’re here to empower you to do just that.
To our new and future industry peers:
The old joke, if you put three dog trainers in a room, the only thing two of them can agree on is that the other one is wrong is… well, old. As a dog training company, Lucid is dedicated to finding people, businesses and organizations that make it a point to keep an open mind and to collaborate in the betterment of the lives of dogs, dog owners and the general dog community while improving and innovating their craft.
We’re always looking to learn something new, and we look forward to doing so with likeminded trainers, behaviorists, and other dog professionals.
Let the adventures begin.
